As we all know, Nascar is the new black, so I was really looking forward to seeing Nascar 3D at the Imax Theatre on Saturday with my brother, mom and dad. I got quite a bit of knitting done on Frida during the drive out to the theatre. I was glad I brought my knitting along because the drive was long, and tragically, we got a bit lost and missed the movie.
It was quite a dilemma to find ourselves in the hinterlands with nothing to do. Luckily we stumbled across a different theatre and watched, of all things, Dodgeball. My mother, a soft hearted sweetheart with delicate ears and somewhat Victorian sensibilities, was even amused. She only muttered her catchphrase, "That's sick!" once. I was quite proud of her.
That frida is a great color! I think I'll be seeing a lot of red this winter. Its all over my stash! How funny watching that movie with your mom. I think that's cool.

I bet red is a great color on you. I'm not so sure about the color of Frida for me. In person it is as bright a red as you can imagine. It may be a bit much. We'll see...
