I came home today, exhausted from a rough week, and found a surprise package in my mailbox from JillZ. What a treat!
This pattern magazine is one I've never come across, so it is especially fun. I do believe there is a new pattern beckoning to me...

True confessions of a novice knitter!
I learned to knit a few years ago, and started a knit blog so I could keep a journal of my knitting progress (or lack thereof).
This blog is currently on hiatus, but you can find me over at my new blog, China Shepherdess, where I write about my do-it-yourself decorating and other home improvement projects.

The one I have my eye one is a really open sort of cardigan. It's rather like something I've seen in Phildar. However, I am so slow that it will probably have to wait unti NEXT summer!
