Happy fall!
I celebrated autumn by visiting an apple farm this afternoon. There were many treats -- apple brats, apple pie with cinnamon ice cream, and of course, apple cider.
Of course there wasn't any yarn, but there was an alpaca. I don't think she wanted to have her picture taken.

It took me a while to figure out "apple brat." I was thinking of the word rhyming with rat, not the word rhyming with rot. I was wondering if it was some kind of dessert... maybe that you give spoiled children? I've lived in the South too long!

Ha - there were some real apple brats of that sort there too; screaming and hollering for no apparent reason.

Sounds fun. I use to go apple picking every year when I was kid. It's a New England thing.
Too bad there was no yarn to buy there. When I saw the pics of the alpacas, I thought you were going to say you scored some alpaca yarns while apple picking. Hee, hee..

As kids, we went every year too. There are quite a few apple orchards in my state. It would have been cool if there was alpaca yarn, instead there was just alpaca butt.
