The Project: Tubular Camisole - pattern by Glampyre Knits
The Yarn: GGH Solitaire in Charcoal purchased from Knit Happens Online (The knitting store with the speediest shipping ever!)
The Needles: US3 and US6 circular needle 24-inch
Started: September 30 2005
Restarted: October 30 2005 (original was too big)
Yeah, it doesn't look like much now, but this grey blob will soon blossom into the fabulous tubular camisole. I'm making it with the yarn that was just too rustic for the eyelet top from Rebecca. As my yarn is a bit bulkier than the pattern specified, I had to go down a couple of sizes on the needles.
It's going well so far -- even the short rows aren't giving me too many issues. Soon, I'll be up to some bobbly bits. As the self appointed Queen of the Bobbles(TM), I'm excited about that!

It looks amazing Amy. The "rustic" yarn is a nice touch.

Cool, another project! Since, I don't have much time for knitting these days, I can knit vicariously through you.

Looks cool! I like the yarn. And I love how you number all your projects. Can't wait to see those bobbles!

nice! we can have matching tops. This was a fun knit (though Ive yet to finish the ribbing on the second one) and I liked the bobble action, though mine didn't look as great as yours usually do

that's a very fun knit! i wrapped my short rows, by the way, in order to minimize the little holes that show up if you don't. might want to give it a try!

Thanks! I did the wrapping too, but I made one mistake and did end up with one unintentional wee hole. I'll have to be more careful for the rest of the short rows.
