Thank YOU. I'm really enjoying reading these -- along with your previous post's rumors (each and every one of which I'm going to take as gospel). A body double in a music video? That might be the most glamorous thing anyone's confessed to yet!

yahaira

dude, that pic...disturbing

newlin

-When I was 12 years old in Boy Scouts, I was trying to earn my "rock climbing" merit badge by hauling my chubby ass hand-over-hand up a 30 foot rock cliff face. About midway through, my brain decided, "Nope, not gonna make it", and for some reason I simply let go. I landed in the water below, totally unhurt. But somwhere during the fall I totally pooped my pants.

- If not for my wife, I could quite possibly be living a "work at the Ren Fest and write Dr. Who fan fiction" life.

- My guilty pleasure song is Michelle Branch's "All You Wanted".

- I have an irrational fear of small snakes and standing on low heights.. like chairs.

- I once worked on a Crazytown music video.

You better watch your back next time you're in Minneapolis if I find out that you are responsible for that "Butterfly" video, Newlin!

Ok, a confession: even thought I´ve seen Jurassic Park (once), I don´t dare to see it again by myself, I find the Velociraptors too scary! (Same with Scream...) I hate scary movies, but somehow I manage to love anything with vampires...

newlin

No no, I didn't have the honor of working on "Butterfly"... instead I got to work on their follow-up non-hit "Revolving Door". Which I think had the eact same tune as Butterfly, just with different lyrics. it is ATROCIOUS.

Amy,

This is hilarious. Thanks for the laugh.

melissa

i HATE cats too! Glad I'm not the only knitter around who does!

Faith

Oh goodness, everyone's been away, don't feel bad. I think it's better this way, since probably no one really had time to read anything anyway.

(*Whispered*)I don't like cat's either. Except the ones I grew up with. In fact, most of the time I can't STAND other people's cats. Or dogs. And I think that spinning pet hair into yarn is rather vile. Although I can't think of a really good reason why I feel that way. Wow, I've said way too much now. There goes my ratings.

newlin

Knitters who don't like cats?? What?? That's insane. Soon you'll be saying that you also don't sit in rocking chairs, solve quaint village mysteries, or sip chamomile tea. My worldview is shattered.

nicole

Not a big fan of cats, either. Perhaps we should start a "Knitters who don't like cats" webring. Kidding.

How can you, in good conscience, reveal that you were the body/hand double in a pop video and not tell us which one. So unfair.

I am still alive! and still lovin your blog! Thanks for the peek into the secret side of your life!

Janet

I just noticed you tagged me for this! DOH! My bloglines must not be updating.

Hey Amy-

Your photography is amazing. I am a big fan. You really know how to flickr!!

I am putting on a film festival in Los Angeles called Happy Hour in March. It is taking place at the Natural History Museum, and we would like to get you and your photos involved. I think they will make a wonderful compliment to the show... and perhaps we can start the teruterubouzo fan club!

Our main goal with Happy Hour is to support and promote creative talent and artists, and get the work out there in a fun, fresh way. The event is going to be completely different, really innovative, and we'd like to get you involved -- getting your photos in front of as many people as possible.

You can check out our site at http://www.happyworldwide.com/happyhour

And email me at trevor@happyworldwide.com

We look forward to figuring out how we can meet up and collaborate in a big fun way.

You rock!

Yeah, I'm not down with the cats either I have allergies. However, I absolutely do solve quaint village mysteries, so keep the faith Newlin.

newlin

Whew...! I was afraid no one would ever solve the disappearance of dotty old Mrs. Parsnippington's prize teapot.
