Thank you for this link.

For me, my mother and maternal grandmother both died of AD. Every other member of my family has died of heart disease, and the research linking both is fascinating to me. Yet I am much more afraid of my own falling victim to AD like these two ancestors than I do to falling victim to heart disease like everyone else.

I stumbled on to your blog. Thank you for posting this. I am a social worker on an Alzheimer's unit at a nursing home. Research and awareness are so important. Again, thank you.

Thank you so much for posting such an informative blog post. Cheers!

Amy

It's been a long time since I checked in on your blog- which was, I think, one of the first knitting blogs I encountered. Let me tell you, it's started a dangerous trend for me.

All that said, I think I understand very well how important Alzheimer's research may be to you. I also understand why it is a hard thing to talk about. Someday, when you are ready, I would very much like to listen to what you have to say. That can be difficult enough.

  • True confessions of a novice knitter!
I learned to knit a few years ago, and started a knit blog so I could keep a journal of my knitting progress (or lack thereof).
