Knits bring warmth to those in need

Senior Citizen Center's Knitting Club members are doing their part to ensure those in need stay warm this holiday season.They are busy knitting hats, scarves, gloves, blankets and other hand-made creations, which will be delivered personally to those in need.
Although he isn't doing any knitting, long-time resident Bernie Sippin is doing what he can to assist the club.
Last week Sippin donated fibers from his alpacas to the women. These fibers, he said, can be used to knit.
Sippin explained fibers from alpacas are not cheap, as alpacas are far less common than sheep, which most yarn comes from. [more]
