Small projects can take stress out of holiday gift-giving

Holiday gift lists and shopping can add to the stress of an already busy month. Why not take time off and relax with easy-to-do projects that will make great little gifts.The local knitting guild, Knitters of the North, has been working on washcloths and dishcloths. It has also created an exchange list for gift-giving. Each person on the list knits two washcloths to give to a secret knitter pal.
Who can't use more dishcloths or face cloths? These are easy to make and require only a small amount of inexpensive cotton yarn. Patterns for dishcloths and washcloths are easy to find, but you might give yourself a gift too and take advantage of opportunities to practice a new stitch. [more]
